Delete your Memorybook account

In the app (fastest)

1. Open Memorybook and go to Settings.
2. Tap Delete account.
3. Review what will happen to each family you own, then tap Delete my account.

Without the app

Email support@memorybook-app.com from the address you sign in with and ask us to delete your account. We’ll confirm by email and complete it within 7 days.

What gets deleted

• Your account: your name, email address, sign-in details, and your membership and permissions in every family.
• Families you own where nobody else is a member, with all of their albums, photos and videos.
• If you choose, every photo and video you added to other families.

What stays

• Families you own that have other members: ownership passes to the longest-standing admin (or member), so their albums keep working.
• Photos and videos you added to other families, unless you choose to delete them too.
• Purchase records kept by Apple, Google and our billing provider as required by law.

Deleted photos and videos are erased from our storage within a day. Copies in encrypted backups are overwritten within 30 days.
